Since its launch in 2006, Grub Street has been the digital destination for New York Magazine’s authoritative, award-winning food and restaurant coverage. Through investigative reports, up-to-the-minute trendspotting, meticulously researched guides, and the weekly “Grub Street Diet” — a food diary written by the likes of T-Pain, David Sedaris, and Sarah Jessica ParkerGrub Street squints at the food world through an ever-evolving lens.

Grub Street was honored with the James Beard Foundation Journalism Award for Best Group Food Blog in 2011 and 2015. Its diner-at-large Tammie Teclemariam won the Emerging Voice Award in 2022, and its then–restaurant critic Adam Platt won for his restaurant reviews in 2009.
