I didn't fully grasp it initially, but now love every aspect, seeing successes and setbacks as growth opportunities. This site chronicles life on the homestead: children with hens, first fruit trees, butchered hogs, a dairy cow laid to rest – life, death, hope, and disappointment are all part of the experience.
