What is this?
I’m Brooke Barker, and I love feeling the perfect amount of uncomfortable.
When I’m not doing that here with weekly comics and essays, I also write books - you can find Sad Animal Facts, Sad Animal Babies, and my newest book How Do Meerkats Order Pizza at your local bookstore or library. If you’re going on a long car trip, I recommend my audiobook So Help Me Gosh. I also contribute to the New York Times, the Guardian, and work on grocery lists.
I started this newsletter because the internet was so big that I couldn’t really see the edges of it, and it seemed nice to have a smaller space to tell stories.
