About Sarah Spiegel
Welcome to homebody, my personal journal.
I’m a textile designer and mother to two girls, Violet (4) and Dahlia (1). My husband and I moved from Brooklyn to the Hudson Valley in 2020 (pandemic escape) and haven’t looked back (much).
I am a homebody to my core, and home is my preferred canvas for creating beauty and self-expression. I began my career in food, specifically, hosting dinner parties for a living — and this is still very core to who I am.
I am also deeply creative, and I believe we all are — but it’s something I need to do often to feel like myself.
