About Angela K. Nickerson
As a child, Angela K. Nickerson daydreamed of a home surrounded by flowers and orchards, filled with singing birds, butterflies, and ladybugs. She longed to cut huge bouquets and read under a tree, unlike her plain lawn. As an adult, her dreams remain, but now she sees them as a hyperlocal solution to climate change, addressing declining firefly, Monarch, and songbird populations. Girded with science-based knowledge and guided by experts like Doug Tallamy and Monty Don, she cultivates her dream garden and inspires others.
Angela leads a WILD REVIVAL – a rebellion against the default lawn, a rejection of old landscaping, and an embrace of abundant, thriving ecosystems.
