I’m one-half of mystery author Renee Patrick, the other (better) half being my wife Rosemarie Keenan. Our novels featuring the Golden Age of Hollywood sleuthing duo of Lillian Frost and legendary costume designer Edith Head have been nominated for the Agatha, Anthony, Left Coast Crime, and Macavity Awards. They have been spotlighted on National Public Radio and led to us introducing films on Turner Classic Movies.
I’m a screenwriter, journalist, and the former editor-in-chief of Noir City, the magazine of the Film Noir Foundation. I wrote Down the Hatch: One Man’s One-Year Odyssey Through Classic Cocktail Recipes and Lore. Henry Rollins once called me “presidential” on national television, but I have not yet declared my intention to run.
