Thoughts on poetry, translation and related matters. I publish a piece at least once a week, and recently often two. The content is pretty varied, with pieces on poetry in (and translation from) English, French, Latin, Greek and Sanskrit, and on poems dating from antiquity, early modernity and (for French and English) also more recent periods, up to the present day. Any feedback on which topics you prefer is very welcome!
Free subscribers receive the weekly piece in full as an email and can also read the previous three weeks’ pieces for free. Most older essays however are pay-walled, meaning that free subscribers can only read the first part.
