Why does anything exist? Mostly this is here to create longer form content and summaries that are hard to fit on Twitter. It’s a place to see a collection of information all at once instead of just bite size pieces of information one at a time.
Emails make it easier to read and easier to refer back to than hopelessly searching through Twitter.
Comments
Replies to posts on Twitter can easily get lost, or hijacked by people more interested in name calling and trolling than honest debate. By limiting comments to people specifically coming here for information, it’s a much healthier, instructive and constructive setting.
