All over the world, but especially in Italy where Daniela lives, freedom of thought and speech have become rare commodities. Content is mostly faked and manipulated, or censored and deleted. Since 2020, finding information to compare the Italian situation to foreign ones – understanding that we are all in the same boat – or finding diverse information from abroad that is ignored or falsified in Italy, has become urgent. With the current censorship of the European Digital Act, it has become vital.
Daniela has been translating and disseminating information since the 1990s, previously for other platforms.
