The word Misbah (مصباح) in Arabic translates to guiding light and is derived from the Quran, specifically from the Ayat of Light (Ayatu-n-Nur) which state: "God is the Light (Misbah) of the heavens and the earth".
The Misbah is a platform devoted to the art of storytelling, rooted in the rich intellectual, spiritual, and cultural tradition of Islam. At our core is a belief that stories—when told with sincerity, depth, and care—have the power to connect hearts, bridge generations, and bring clarity to the complexities of our world.
