About The Western Spirit
The Western Spirit is my attempt to recover the memory of who we are.
I write about Western civilization—not as a scholar, but as someone trying to understand what built the world I live in, and what might be worth rebuilding. I don’t think the past was perfect. But I do think it had something we’ve lost: a sense of meaning, order, and faith that once gave shape to life in the West.
This project is rooted in the belief that our culture didn’t just happen. It was made—slowly, intentionally—through the Catholic Church, classical learning, Christian moral ideals, and the people who lived them out.
