These days, I describe the spectacle as a ‘world news and culture’ magazine which shines a light on topics which need more attention but really I just write what I want whenever I feel like it. My work just happens to go in that direction.
When I started writing the magazine in 2024, it was just an outlet for me to dissect the absurdities of our world. A friend suggested I try Substack—I didn’t even know what the platform was at the time, but I gave it a go anyway. Before I knew it, 100 people were reading my work. Then it was 500.
