Welcome to The Liminal! I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve launched this publication as a new creative outlet to get in the habit of doing more writing. I’ll be writing about topics that interest me including observations on art and culture, opinion pieces on politics, and reflections on life’s strange and amusing curiosities.
Why "The Liminal"?
Inspiration for the name The Liminal comes from my fascination with liminal spaces—temporal, spatial, or even psychological zones and thresholds of transition, pause, and waiting. When we enter these zones, time and space slow down, and as we experience indefinite pause, we are granted a unique perspective with which to observe our surroundings as the familiar and mundane worlds we inhabit suddenly become unfamiliar and fascinating.
