Hi readers! My name is Sam Hester. I make comics & do other art/writing stuff in Calgary/Moh’kinsstis, Canada.
I began writing autobiographical comics about 30 years ago, when I started a sketchbook journal called “The Drawing Book. ” Since then, I’ve gone on to write some published comics (for example, in The Sprawl), and I also work as a graphic recorder.
But those old sketchbooks full of comics are just sitting around, unread.
