About Street Smart Naturalist

Street Smart Naturalist is my way to share observations about the human and natural world around Seattle, Puget Sound, and the Pacific Northwest.

When I graduated from college, my mom said to me, “I read through all of your report cards and all of your teachers said that you never shut up. ” So this is my way to start some new conversations, and to share ideas, stories, and observations based on my research and ramblings. The writing will be serious, silly, and somewhere in between.

I send only one newsletter per week, on Thursday. It will include a podcast and newsletter so you can listen to or read the content.
