About George Saunders
Hello. I’m George Saunders, a writer and creative writing professor at Syracuse University. My books include Tenth of December (National Book Award Finalist) and Lincoln in the Bardo (2017 Man Booker Prize). I’ve also written for The New Yorker and GQ, but mainly, I’m a short fiction writer, published in The New Yorker.
My recent book, A Swim in a Pond in the Rain, explored Russian masters' short stories. It sparked passionate reader letters wanting to discuss these works further, inspiring Story Club.
