Because hunniiiii, nothing cockblocks us me faster than us thinking that anything we create, produce, ideate or make must be better than Tom Brady’s career, more successful than Taylor Swift’s music, and definitely more iconic than the Titanic scene where Jack tears our hearts out and DIES.
At least, that’s how my brain fucks me up.
I have somehow got it ingrained into my psyche (hi, childhood) that vulnerability is BAD, experimentation is WRONG and failing is FATAL.
Which, of course, is a bunch of donkey DOO-DOO.
But it doesn’t make my brain believe it any less.
