About The New England Scholar's Study
The Author
Greetings, I am the curator of The New England Scholar's Study; a Director of Planning and Zoning for a historic New England town by profession, a philosopher by education, and a devoted bibliophile by lifelong passion.
My academic journey began with an undergraduate degree in philosophy, followed by a master’s in public administration, formal education that has provided me with both theoretical frameworks and practical insights into how communities function and flourish.
Professionally, I navigate the complex intersection of municipal governance, historic preservation, and forward-thinking urban planning. This work has deepened my appreciation for how thoughtfully designed spaces shape intellectual and social life.
Outside of professional obligations, I have dedicated myself to creating a life centered around scholarly pursuits. My home features a carefully curated study filled with antiques and a growing collection of books, a personal sanctuary that embodies the aesthetic and intellectual traditions I hold dear.
