Sapan - the Southasia Peace Action Network

Southasia Peace Action Network is a coalition of organisations and inter-generational individuals across the region and diaspora joining hands to take forward the principles of peace, justice, democracy and human rights, and working towards a visa-free Southasia.

The Sapan Founding Charter reiterates our commitment to peace and justice, and underscores the need for regionalism, cooperation, and a visa-free Southasia, or at least a region which allows ease of visas to its inhabitants. The Charter has been endorsed by over 50 organisations and hundreds of individuals, many of them well known.

Sapan News Network is a syndicated features service that bridges academia, activism, journalism, the public, and policymakers. We cover and connect Southasia, the Indian Ocean, and diaspora in a variety of ways, and amplify the narrative of peace, regionalism and dialogue. Sapan News features are published in over 30 reputed media outlets, journals and magazines.
