What is Same Boat?
Same Boat is an online magazine for women who work on the internet. It’s filled with industry news, tips and techniques for running your company, encouragement and inspiration, Alt Summit community wins, and useful business gossip — all though the lens of women who make things happen online. The magazine brings the creative, kind, generous, inclusive spirit of Alt Summit conferences to a weekly audience, year round.
Our weekly issues will feature articles that teach the kind of business building and community building skills you learn at Alt Summit conferences, interviews of the women in our community who are working on great and interesting things, and industry news that affects women who work on the internet. We also aim to share real information on topics that are gossiped about, but would be more helpful to our community if they were brought into the light — things like MLMs and coaching and snark sites and what influencers are really being paid and women who didn’t get credit for what they made.
