Originally from Texas, Rachel’s work as a journalist began in 2014, when she was a freshman in college. She worked as a freelance writer in alternative media, and wrote articles on topics that included the mainstream media silence over the Obama administration’s drone assassination program, the targeting of Wikileaks Founder Julian Assange, and Israel’s 2014 bombardment of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
