About Robin Down
This is my ‘blog’ about all things related to the UK banks. It’s going to be ad-hoc to start with - after 30 years on the sell-side of often being forced to write to a meaningless department “theme” - this is my chance to write solely about the things that interest me. But I want this blog to be a little more than that - so I’m going to include primers on important areas for generalists and newcomers to the bank sector. And I will gradually populate a spreadsheet section with models, and chartbooks that readers might find useful. Anyone is free to re-use elements elsewhere (if you could credit me where appropriate that would be great).
For the avoidance of doubt this is a blog, its not research or financial advice and as such I wont be making stock recommendations.
