Tales, yarns, and dispatches from the heart of America, all by a Bard named Peter (Battle) Biles.
Battle the Bard was launched in 2022 and has since morphed into a creative project centered on short fiction, personal essays, and poetry. In 2026 and beyond, I hope to make it a stash of humorous, fantastical fiction written in the voice of a happy Bard telling tall tales and yarns ‘round a crackling campfire in the chilly trees of backwoods America. If that sounds up your alley (or creek), join me! There are plenty of stumps to sit on.
