About Steve Dennis
Hi there, I’m Steve Dennis.
I’m a retail and omni-channel OG, having spent some 30 years toiling in the world’s second oldest profession, including serving on the executive leadership teams at two Fortune 500 retailers. In 2009 I founded my own strategic advisory firm, working with all manner of firms that touch on the retail eco-system (retailers, technology firms, investors) and began writing what grew to become the industry’s most popular blog and subsequently became a Forbes senior retail contributor.
Nearly a decade ago I branched out into keynote speaking and have now delivered talks at major industry conferences (Shoptalk, World Retail Congress, the NRF Big Show et al) and spoken at internal company events (Walmart, Nike, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Google, Microsoft, et al) on six continents.
In the past six years I’ve published two books, including the bestselling retail strategy book of the past decade: Remarkable Retail: How to Win & Keep Customers in the Age of Disruption. Leaders Leap is my latest.
