About Zaki Khalid
Hello and welcome to PGR on Substack. The project was started by Zaki Khalid in December 2019, originally as a regular audio podcast on erstwhile Anchor before venturing into a YouTube channel.
PGR was setup to discuss select regional and international issues from a distinct Pakistani perspective. With a one-person takeoff, PGR gradually brought onboard researchers, academics and government veterans to share their nuanced viewpoint and offer the world a glimpse of the thinking within Pakistani intelligentsia.
A host of issues were slated for discussion but there's no denying that geopolitics, security and foreign policy issues remained recurring themes of discussion.
