These include my experience leaving academia for a different path, my journey facing mental and emotional health challenges, and my learnings along the way. I also delve into the fascinating history of the Ottoman Empire and the Middle East, in addition to my other cultural and scholarly interests.
About Doğa Ozturk
My name is Doğa, which means “nature” in Turkish. I am a historian by training, specializing in the Ottoman Empire and the Middle East. I received my PhD from the Ohio State University in 2020 and decided to leave academia for a more fulfilling career path.
