Off the record is an episodic comic, published via newsletter.
What is Off the record about? It delves into music, indie music, Italian indie music, specifically from the early 2000s. It explores what it meant to "be indie" in the Noughties: the tours, the community of musicians, groupies and roadies, the endless hours in a van around Italy, hotels with stuffed cats, concerts with ten people in the audience, and the summer festivals that no longer exist.
But it's also a comic that looks back, addressing nostalgia, midlife crisis, success and failure (more of the latter than the former), and the passage of time.
