About me
I’m a journalist, writer and former diplomat. Before moving into reporting, I was posted to Brussels, Istanbul, Rome and Beirut. In 2014, I moved to the Home Office press office, where I worked on the immigration and security desk during the rollout of the hostile environment policy.
Since leaving the civil service, I have written extensively about foreign and domestic policy.
