WELCOME
I’m Dan Catt a contemporary print artist and editor in chief of CATT PRINT: Research & Development, an arts based research studio in Shrewsbury, UK.
The studio is an experiment in working with algorithmic print, zines, video and AI in documenting the running of an art studio. The focus is on the process more than the end result.

The main newsletter is published every other Thursday, we’re not too intense.
It’s mainly focused on drawing machines and pen plotters, but has grown to encompass the philosophy behind running an art studio without pandering to the constant churn of social media.
We’re trying to stay sane here.
