I’ve made my living as a writer for over 40 years, on magazines and newspapers and as a novelist. I’ve edited several magazines, including British ELLE, and had columns in The Times, the Sydney Morning Herald, the Age and The Lady magazine.
The columns ranged in theme from fashion, style, food, restaurants and books, all the way over to the grown-up lands of op ed, where I wrote about the big political and news stories of the day. I’m a broad broad.
