Hi, I'm Mackenzie!
I'm a mom of four boys — Teddy (6), Peter (4), Tucker (3), and Rory (11 months) — living in Darien, Connecticut, with my husband Will. I've been writing on the internet since 2009 on my blog Design Darling, where I share everything from decorating and renovating our 1850s home to easy outfits, Nantucket favorites, and needlepoint fun. Over the years, my little corner of the internet has become a place I deeply treasure, but lately I've been craving something a little slower, softer, and more personal alongside it.
Little Loves is that space. It's where I get to write more freely about motherhood, identity, and the in-between seasons — the works in progress, small joys, and everyday finds that make life a little easier, better, and more beautiful.
