I've been writing stories for as long as I can remember. I loved English in high school. I created fantasy epics, and maps, and languages. I built worlds, expanded timelines, sagas.
But I felt pushed/pulled to squash or hide my writing, and my being a writer, by trying to do other "proper" things, like, you know, go to university, get a job, find a career, settle down, and so on.
Writing was like a guilty pleasure.
