I’m Leah Konen, a novelist (10 books and counting), developmental editor to some of your favorite reads, and an award-winning creative director for ad campaigns you may or may not have seen on your morning commute. (Oh yeah, there’s also my most time-intensive position: mom to two, three if you count the dog. )
There’s one thing that all of my roles have in common, and it’s also the passion that’s driven me my whole life: I LOVE to tell a good story. It might be a full-on novel, it might be a script for a TV spot, it might just be a little anecdote I share with my barista; and for about 30 minutes a night every night, it’s definitely a bedtime story. But in a way, I’m once-upon-a-time-ing, day in and day out, hour by hour.
