My name is Joey D’Urso and I’m a journalist who writes about how football explains global politics, money and power. This is the subject I am obsessed with and have spent the last few years travelling around the world investigating. I’ve worked for the BBC, Athletic and The Times, and my first book More Than A Shirt came out in June 2025.
