About Zaki Khalid
Intelligence Nuggets was launched in December 2023 by Zaki Khalid, a private intelligence analysis trainer and consultant with prior management-level experience in Pakistan’s national security sector.
It was borne out of a personal initiative to highlight people, incidents and organisations that are either not well known, less discussed or improperly profiled. With a deep personal interest in intelligence history, Zaki found it rather disappointing that literature to this effect is quite uncommon in countries dotted throughout the African and Asian regions.
Since the second-half of World War II, Western scholars have made great strides in trying to document intelligence history independently and occasionally through institutional patronage. Though Intelligence Nuggets cannot reasonably claim to seek equivalence with such exceptional voluminous work, it aims to slowly but persistently compile a modest compendium as ready-reference for future generations and especially intelligence historians.
Once a sufficient number of posts are published, they will be categorised and indexed for lookup according to country and corresponding organisation.
