The Ingleside Light is dedicated to the communities of San Francisco's greater Ingleside neighborhood.
The Ingleside Light was founded by Alex Mullaney as a monthly print newspaper in September 2008. In December 2019, The Light transitioned to a digital-only platform funded primarily by reader subscriptions.
What We Do
The Ingleside Light reports on small businesses, transportation, local politics, education and many other issues of civic concern. Our mission is to cover community news so everyone can connect to our complicated neighborhood.

Alex Mullaney founded The Ingleside Light in 2008 during the peak of San Francisco's neighborhood newspaper tradition.
