Hey, my name is Amit Varma.
If you have landed up on this page, it is probably because you are familiar with my previous work. I used to run a blog called India Uncut between 2004 and 2009. (It has since become dormant, and I use it now to archive my published pieces. ) I now host a long-form interview podcast called The Seen and the Unseen, and teach an online writing course called The Art of Clear Writing.
Besides being a blogger and a podcaster, I have also been a columnist, a sportswriter and a professional poker player.
