About Ideas Roadshow
Exploring Art History features author and filmmaker Howard Burton, founder of Ideas Roadshow, sharing a wide variety of insights, inspirations and frustrations from his own art historical journey of researching Ideas Roadshow’s art films.
Ideas Roadshow is driven by Irena and Howard Burton. Since its founding in 2012, they’ve hosted and filmed over 100 filmed conversations with world-leading researchers across the arts and sciences, produced 66 short documentaries and 7 feature-length documentaries on a wide range of topics.
Irena is executive editor and producer of all Ideas Roadshow content, and is in charge of publishing and production company Open Agenda Publishing. She is a qualified barrister and solicitor, court interpreter and lecturer.
Howard is the creator of all Ideas Roadshow films.
