Welcome to Holy Doodlebug.
Thank you so much for following whatever trail led you here. Holy Doodlebug is an experiment in story-fusion: a home-brew of personal stories, confessions, rituals, spells, and recipes. I am writing it entirely for me, so it is very specifically flavored to my own idiosyncratic tastes, but my hope is that it might appeal to you, too.
I’ve been a story nerd for forever, and have had the wildly extraordinary privilege to indulge that nerdery everywhere from academia to the Internet to the Walt Disney Company and media and publishing and back to the Internet again. I think that I did some of my best writing in my (mom) blogging era, because it was an era that began before the advent of social media and influencers and the whole dynamic of being extremely online (you can visit or revisit the archives at Her Bad Mother).
