Hi, I’m education journalist and author Holly Korbey, and I write and produce this newsletter all about the science of learning—the body of evidence from neuroscience, educational psychology and cognitive science that can help inform how teachers teach and how students learn. You may know or have heard about the science of reading; it has become quite well-known in the last few years as more schools have adopted evidence-based practices to help teach students to read—but there’s a related body of research that applies to all of learning, not just reading.
