About Habitually Chic
Habitually Chic was a nom de plume Heather Clawson chose in 2007 when she started a blog while working for an interior designer, not wanting to reveal her identity in case it caused trouble at work. She wanted a name that matched her initials, HC, and came up with Habitually Chic. The blog has always covered all the topics that interest her: fashion, shopping, design, art, architecture, beauty, films, tv, travel, events, and more.
Heather has lived in NYC since August 2001. Her goal is to rent another apartment in Paris in the next year or two to go back and forth for longer stretches, eventually moving to Paris full-time for retirement.
