Paradise Lost has been one of my favorite pieces of literature from the first time I read it in a high school class all the way through completing my PhD in English. Conveniently enough, the epic is divided into 12 books, and so we will be reading one book per month for the whole year. All you need to do to join is subscribe, and you will begin receiving regular posts with context, discussion, and prompting questions to aid your reading. Whether you’ve read it before or are reading it for the first time, starting in January or jumping in later in the year, actually reading it or just here for the newsletter discussions, welcome to the journey!
All free subscribers to Glutenberg Press will receive a brief post at the beginning of the month introducing the upcoming book of Paradise Lost, and a post at the end of the month in which I discuss my experience rereading that book and any resulting insights or observations.
