About Garnett Genuis
I have the honour of serving as the Member of Parliament for Sherwood Park—Fort Saskatchewan, representing my home and the area that I grew up in. I was first elected to Parliament in 2015. My wife Dr. Rebecca, our six children, and our dog Grace live on an acreage between Sherwood Park and Ardrossan.
I have served in various roles in the Conservative Shadow Cabinet since 2019, and am currently the Shadow Minister for International Development. I am currently a member of the Government Operations Committee, and have served as a member of many other committees, such as Foreign Affairs, Public Accounts, Immigration, as well as the Subcommittee on International Human Rights.
