About Gabriel Zucman
I am an economist, professor at the École normale supérieure and at the University of Berkeley (California). I direct the European Tax Observatory at the Paris School of Economics. My research focuses on the accumulation, distribution, and taxation of wealth, from a historical and global perspective.
For over 17 years, my work has involved mapping wealth, studying tax havens, dissecting international evasion and competition dynamics. And trying to imagine new forms of cooperation, for a fairer planet.
Here, I will share the latest research on topics close to my heart: globalization, inequalities, and redistribution — the great challenges of our time.
