Mission
Cultivate the professionalism of the Foreign Area Officer (FAO) community by offering a venue for the FAOs and other international military professionals to publish articles. The FAO Journal of International Affairs will promote winning papers from the FAOA awards programs, share FAO experiences from the field, and offer commentary on relevant geo-political and career issues, including recommendations on the utilization, training, and professional development of FAOs.
Article Submission Guidelines
Contributors should email articles to the editorial board (EB) for review. Articles are subject to peer review. Submit all articles in Microsoft Word format to begin the peer review process and to be considered for publication.
Articles should be between 1,000 and 3,000 words in length, not including endnotes, preferably in 12-point Times New Roman.
