Very good question as I’m not really sure I know quite what I’ll be covering here just yet. Safe to say, though, that music will be the main focus of this publication. From new music to older releases, from country to trip-hop, Evil Speakers’ remit is simply to find great music from across the globe and write about what it does to me, how it moves me and how it makes me feel.

If you’re wondering who me is, I’m Dan, a music enthusiast from a region of England known as the Black Country. You may know the Black Country for being the geographical genesis of bands such as Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, The Mighty Lemon Drops and, erm, Babylon Zoo. And now you know it for sending me to blather on to you about semi-obscure 90s jangle pop bands.
