That’s not to say we won’t ever respond to the events of the moment (especially on social media) but we make an effort to look at shit that’s been back-burnered by major media due to the nature of the 24/7 news cycle and the nonstop shit-flow created by the Steve Bannon strategy of “flooding the zone with shit. ”
EIF* will also aim to point out when this administration’s actions and policies echo those of history’s most memorable fascists. While we are seeing a lot of firsts for governance within America herself, Project 2025 is not terribly original. It draws on tactics used by Napoleon, Mussolini, Hitler, Stalin, Tito, Franco, Pinochet, Pol Pot, Idi Amin, Josep Broz Tito, Genghis Khan, and all three Kims.
Our team views mockery both as a necessary and well-deserved response to rising fascism, and as a highly enjoyable pastime.
