I’ve lived in four countries but Italy is, by far and away, the country where I’ve experienced the most seasonality. That might sound rather pretentious but I challenge you to find a place where you can go skiing in the winter, get heatstroke in the summer, and grow everything from tomatoes to radicchio in its fertile soil.
Every month, I’ll click “send” on a free newsletter recounting what I’ve been growing, cooking, reading, drinking… A taste of life in this corner of Italy, if you like.
I’m also starting a subscriber-only supplement which will feature interviews with individuals from food, wine or gastronomy circles whom I selected for their original approach. I want to bring attention to the people who are making waves in their industry.
