Edward Slavsquat is a moniker sometimes used by Riley Waggaman, an American writer and journalist who lived in Russia for ten years. He left Russia in August 2025, and probably won’t return any time soon.
He has contributed to many websites, including Anti-Empire, Off-Guardian, Brownstone Institute, Unlimited Hangout, and Geopolitics & Empire. He worked for Press TV, Russia Insider, and RT before going solo.
