I’m from West Lafayette, Indiana. My parents taught my brothers and me about money using a mini-economy. I never thought I would use that experience to write a book one day!
West Lafayette was a great place to grow up — I was constantly skateboarding at the university and ambling around town. I got to be pretty good at skating, entering competitions and getting a skateboard sponsor.
